    Description

Up for sale is one of the best original Gen 2 Broncos. 3 owners!
    Bring serious reasonable offers!
This 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT was delivered new to Leif Johnson Ford in Austin, Texas.
Based on the order date is it one of the first 78 Broncos build.  You can see from the Marti report that it stayed with
the selling dealer for about 6months.  It is a safe bet this Bronco was used as a display vehicle to show off almost all
    of the new Broncos options.
It is finished in two-tone Midnight Blue and Wimbledon White over a blue vinyl interior. An excellent desirable color combo.
It is powered by a 400ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
This Bronco is loaded with options, some include full-time four-wheel drive, a CB radio which still works!,
front bucket seats, an AM radio with a digital clock, air conditioning, cruise control, and a tilt steering wheel.
Also included with the Bronco is manufacturer’s literature, service records which help back up the extremely low miles.
Optional 15” 10-hole forged alloy wheels are mounted with 31×10.5” General Grabber AT2 tires.
Additional equipment includes full-time four-wheel drive, power steering, quad front shocks, and power-assisted front disc brakes.
The interior features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in two-tone blue vinyl with matching door panels
and carpeting as well as woodgrain trim on the doors and dashboard.
A new carpet kit was recently installed.
The 400ci V8 has been fitted with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor and received a top-end rebuild by the 2nd owner.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case.
Service recently performed includes fluid services as well as replacement of the transmission pan gasket,
the transmission filter, and a power steering hose.
The AC blows cold.  The only item not currently hooked up is the speed control but the setup is still there.
There is no rust on this Bronco, there has never been any.  It retains all the original panels and metal.
90% of this Bronco still has the original paint.  I believe the white portion of the drivers door and drivers fender
have been repainted based on the slightly thicker paint meter readings.
This Bronco is ready to enjoy.  It would make an excellent addition to any collection.
