NOS Vintage universal glove compartment, storage compartment, tool box, or gas door lock. Came off the shelf of a closed locksmith shop. No idea of applications, but it looks like a 20's-50's vintage to me based on the little stainless steel dust cover "flip lid".  Requires a 3/4" hole to mount. Auction is for part exactly as pictured. Ever price getting your locks re keyed at the locksmith? Hey they charge more than doctors! Doesn't hurt to have spares. We have locks for most cars, just ask.
