Description

This is a Rare NOS Dealer installed accessory for all 1970 70 and 1971 71 Pontiac GTO Lemans Firebird Trans Am Grand Prix.....This was the accessory hood latch that would go in the place of the existing latch to allow the Cabin operated cable pull (NOT INCLUDED) to be sued to unlock the hood each time after it was shut. Makes the conventional exterior pull to be in-operable until the cable it pulled from inside the car. PLEASE NOTE...There is NO pull cable included...This is the latch mechanism only. The last photo is out of the 1970 Dealer book and I included it to show what the cable would look like and to show the system in the accessory section of the dealer sales manual. It should be easy enough to make up some type of cable to work...The latch is the main part you would need...Pretty Rare Dealer Installed Option...Just the fact of the NOS original plating on this latch is over the top...
